It seemed like forever but I was finally able to make it out for a quick pheasant hunt this past week. My BIL Pete and I were able to take my Dad out on a excursion to bag some Eastern Colorado pheasants. I was thinking that this must have been his first time in 20 or so years that he was able to chase some wild birds. So we set out to have a good hunt and we did just that. The weather was almost too nice but we hunted hard and we did manage to scratch down a few birds. Mia hunted hard as usual and I was able to get some much needed training in with Abby.

Next up is a two day trip to Kansas at the end of the month. Can't wait.
